Nicholas Mee & Co is delighted to act as distributor for Caracalla Bagaglio, producer of a beautiful range of hand-made leather luggage and accessories.
Each and every item has been created using traditional Tuscan craftsmanship that has been passed down over generations.
Included in Caracalla Bagaglio's product line is the commemorative motorsport range – a unique selection of classic 'Monza style' leather holdalls relating to the history of famous racing car marques, drivers and car race numbers.
Caracalla Bagaglio has produced a special range of luggage to commemorate Aston Martin's outright win in the 1959 Le Mans 24-hour race. The winning car, the number 5 works DBR1, was driven by Briton Roy Salvadori and American Carroll Shelby.
2009 marked the 50th anniversary of Aston Martin's Le Mans victory and this highly desirable holdall is a superb tribute to that acheivement. The holdall (pictured above) is manufactured in 'Verde' leather – as close as it's possible to get to the British Racing Green interior leather of a 1959 Aston Martin – while the roundel is in white 'Bianco' leather with the number '5' in black 'Nero' leather.
