Sarah Maynard is widely known as the ground breaking interior designer of the acclaimed Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB9. Her unique breadth of design experience ranges from fashion for Karl Lagerfeld, Chloe and Yves St Laurent, to furniture and fabrics for clients such as Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Harrods, as well as interior design for commercial and residential projects.    

Sarah Maynard has designed a set of bespoke machined aluminium parts as a simple upgrade for the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage.

Control switches 

With exquisite attention to detail, all three A/C and radio dials now have the same balanced central diameter, concave finger locators and a precision cross-knurl machined finish, allowing for easy grip and improved performance. A vailable in clear or black anodised finish. 

Bespoke machined aluminium gearstick

For manual DB9's and V8 Vantage's, Sarah Maynard offers a replacement for the standard leather and plastic gearstick to reflect the quality of the other interior materials. Made from solid, tactile machined aluminium, this replacement gearstick, with a bulbous shaped aluminium head has been designed to fit exactly and snugly into the ball of the palm of your hand, allowing for comfortable and instinctive gear changes.  

Indicator stalks   

Aluminium indicator stalk casing with crossed knurl finish that allows for easy grip and location.

Gear stick gloves 

Individually hand sewn, specially pattern cut and crafted to fit your precision machined  gear stick by skilled craftsmen in England. A magnetic fastener attached within the neck tab, allows for a secure and easy fit. We use only the finest leathers, from the ethiopian hair sheep, one of the best materials for fine leather gloves.

Ash tray lid

Re designed to sit flush into the centre console, the lid has a crescent machined into the front face allowing for easier access and an ambient light allows instant location in the dark.
